As mentioned in my journal/blog i was playing entwisti tonight at pool for our pubs. As i said we'd get beat but entwisti got beat in his singles by one of our members and she did well she won our only game! Said we'd get beat by them and we did but enti got beat in his singles. He also said that this thread would get deleted if i did it but i did it anyway.

It was a lucky game, I doubt the lass has ever potted 6 balls on the trot before, and I have no idea how she got that black past my yellow, sometimes you play the odds and lose, c'est la vie.

Nope, As Shillelagh will no doubt back me up, I took it with good manners. As I mentioned, sometimes I play the odds, I had 2 balls left, she had 6, with most B teams(which we are both members of) it is rare to find someone who can clear up from six balls. So I played a shot to bring my ball out with a view to clearing up on my next visit. The lass that I was playing went on and played a blinder, never worrying about position etc, just whacking them down. and they went, all six. Even the last shot, I didn't think that black would go past my last ball into teh pocket, she hit it hard and it did. fair does, good shot etc.

The way she went hysterical jumping up and down suggested even she was surprised to win!

She went hysterical because of the look on your face when the black went in! Couldve been a 9-0 but you got beat!
