Would you care to expand upon what she has done seeing as you seem to know.Also I wasn't aware it was a "job"I'm sure it's a tough task working 24 hours a day being a Queen,you don't even get breaks or a dinner hour.Damn I won't be applying for that.

G-C ... do you remember the Coronation ? We didn't have a telly, all partied at a neighbours who had a Bush with the enlargement screen over it .. felt so proud of our country ? Just watched in colour tonight on telly, and the Golden Carriage .. magic !

Here in Australia of course......we celebrate the Queen,s birthday in June....don,t ask me why....but we do get a public holiday for it......:)
I remember watching her coronation on tv in 1953.....think it was a 9 inch set :eek: ...and have always admired the way she has conducted herself in her duties and steered the younger royals through difficult times.
Long may she reign.......
