How do you half 5 and get 4????
 

I've just been listening to my local radio stattion and they had their daily logic question. I didn't get todays but when he told the answer i realised it was simple.

Ryan and Di go to the icecream shop and Di tells Ryan she will buy his icecream if he can answer a question. Di says

" How do you half 5 and get 4? "

Ryan answers and Di buys the icecream.

Answer is if you have FIVE and take away the F and E which is two words(half of 5) then your left with IV which is 4 in roman numerals. That one went down like a lead balloon!!!

I was going to answer that I thought it was because he answered the question - it didn't matter if he got it right or not but if he gave an answer, and the answer was that it couldn't be done! So you can probably understand why I didn't contribute earlier!
