This is based on an idea currently running on the Alex Lester show with just a few twists, the idea is to invent a local super Hero, e.g. Hyndburn Man or Accrington girl with their own super powers for good or evil.
Or if your imagination runs to it a mixture of superheroes and villains based on either the local area or Local 'Celebrities', or even Members of Accyweb.

The Competition is open to children of all ages but will be biased more towards the younger end of the accyweb members, (positive discrimination in action).

Anyone can submit as many ideas as they like each will be judged on it's own merit by an unbiased panel, (or me if I can't get any volunteers).

So get your young un's thinking and/or drawing (these can be displayed in your post).

I don't know yet what all the prizes are but I do know there is a two DVD set of batman cartoons. Oh! and the famous Alex Lester Sock Puppets as well (though I'm tempted to keep those for myself!).
I also haven't worked out how long to keep the contest open for, I suppose the best thing is to see what response we get. When the prizes arrive to me we may even be able to stretch to more than one prize, perhaps a 1st, 2nd & 3rd either judged on quality or age, as soon as the prizes get here I'll let you know what's what.

In the mean time get busy the summer Holidays are here so it might just keep the kids (or your Partner) quiet for a couple of Hours.
