Your specialist subject is....

Since some of us are hooked on Mel's quiz, and some of us have complained (me) about all the questions being on one subject, if you were going on Mastermind, and could chose the subject you think you knew most about, what would it be?

Name?

Garinda.

Occupation?

Retired.

Specialist subject?

Either Twentieth century modern art, or the history of fashion 1860 to the present day. I can't decide Magnus. ( I know its John Humphreys now, but he ain't a patch on old Mags.)

Mr Garinda you have two minutes on Twentieth century art, starting now...

Sorry me Yorky cousin but I believe that was "Culpepper." My Culpeper is renown for having the most Civil War activity (occupied by either the North or the South throughout the war). Also the largest calvary battle in North America was fought in this county, ~10 miles from my house (called the Battle of Brandy Station). For those interested!

Oh yeah! chinchin (I prefer Coors Light to merlot but I still love ya!)

garinda 01-10-2006 22:55

Re: Your specialist subject is....

Is your Culpeper in any way related to the Elizabeathen herbalist Nicholas Culpepper?

Its an unusual name.

Re: Your specialist subject is....

Nah garinda, don't think so. Had something to do with Lord Fairfax giving Lord Culpeper some land back in the 1700s courtesy of King George.

Aye mate they sure could! However, I can get 36 cans of it for ~$17 at Costco. I drink it more for the cool refreshment then for any real beer flavor. For that I'd go for a Sam Adams or a Fosters. The good stuff is so bloody expensive though!

I loved all the different type of beer that they had on draft throughout England. Great rich flavor. Gave me a bit more of a buzz then my puritan being is allowed to enjoy!:p My thought, when in Rome . . .

Favorite was the lager Mick rec. at the Stag, the Kronenberg at a pub in London. There was one other popular one but forgot the name.

Ooops, thread wander eh? Not me fault. It's that New Jersey guy!;)

The accused pleads NOT guilty! Seems to me that there was some other fellow who decided to bring Coors Light into the thread. Now, who was that?:yelrotflm
