Monty Python Quotes

If you notice my signature its a great quote from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. What are other peoples favourite quotes from the Monty Python Films, its a great laugh and brings back good memories.

I haven't seen any of their films.

Though I have seen the clip from Life of Brian, 'He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy', which was funny.

"My brain hurts".Can we expand this to include sketches or scenes? If so,it's got to be 'Cheese Shop'.:D

If it's sketches as well, then it's got to be the "Ministry of Silly Walks".

Another one of my favourites has to be....

French Soldier: I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper. I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.

Yep, one of the best.

Also, love words that are 'tinny' or 'woody'.

Plus, have been known to say 'what have the romans ever done for us?'

"They gave us peace".

Not a quote, but love the little bit of dialogue which goes:-

Brian: "What will they do to me ?"
Ben the Prisoner: "Oh, you'll probably get away with cruxifiction.
Brian:"CRUXIFICTION !"
Ben the Prisoner: "Yeah, your first offence"
:D

Soo funny. :D :D

I love the scene re. the stoning too. Crowds are winding the guard up and he tells them, "I will tell you when to throw" or summat.

Will have to look up some of the Monty Python programmes .. they were classics.

Centurian: "who threw that?"
Crowd: silent
Centurian: "come on, who was it?"
Crowd: "Her, Her (womens voices), urm HIM, HIM (Mens voices)"
Centurian: "right you, go to the back"

Brian: I'm not the Messiah! Will you please listen? I am not the Messiah, do you understand? Honestly!
Girl: Only the true Messiah denies His divinity.
Brian: What? Well, what sort of chance does that give me? All right! I am the Messiah!
Followers: He is! He is the Messiah!
Brian: Now, f*** off!
[silence]
Arthur: How shall we f*** off, O Lord?

Just remembered another classic: The penquin on the Tele skit. "Wonder what's on the tele, Ooooh, looks like a penquin . . .!"

Dag they were good. It was really funny over here. Lots of folks just couldn't understand the english humor. Most of the guys loved them and most of the girls, other than me mum and sisters, just rolled their eyes at our lunacy! All I have to say is:

I AM NOT A LOONEY! WELL .... actually . . .!:Banane27:
