Gross Things Found In Food!

Yesterday morning as my mate was sitting down to his Weetabix, he was horrified to find a semi-mummified slug had already started his breakfast!

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

We once bought some egg's from Asda. As I cracked one open, there was a half formed chicken with blood and guts. I was put off egg's for a while to say the least.:(

My dad once found a ear wig in his Shredded wheat...

What can be worse than finding a cockroach in a sandwich you have just bitten into?

Karma for the correct answer.:)

Old, but still on target.

Not sure if I don't prefer the occasional worm in apples, rather than perfect apples (probably with a sizable dose of pesticides). Thoughts?

When I was a kid eanting organic straight from our garden definitely didn't agree with this. Whenever we had greens or broccoli, we'd find loads of worms. It'd take half the time pickin, the other hald grugingly eating. All the while me dad would just plow in, revelling in all the free protein he was getting!

Nowadays I do try to pick off as many worms I can find befroe bringing em in. My kids pick a bit but rarely find anything. Me, I plow right in of course!

Don't know about anyone else, but i find a chinese takeaway greasy enough without a couple of strands of the chefs brylcreemed hair in it! Do cooks not have to wear hats anymore? They never seem to bother on TV,but in a working kitchen enviroment i thought it would be against health & hygeine regulations not to.
