Do you beleive in poltegists

As its Halloween & spook night Did anyone watch most haunted last night ??? Its good for a laugh:D

It was at the Edinburgh vaults & 2 ended up with serious gashes from a supposed potegistal demon. Big debate going on as to whether it fake or fiction as to how they got them on living tv. Is there such thing as ghosts & poltegists??

Sceptic or believer?

Strange how with all the advancements in technology there is still no indisputable evidence that anything that can't be explained away, as ever, ever happened.

True they've been saying that on another forum that despite the physical evidence of being harmed, event the parapsychologist was lost for words, that people were quick to say tehy did it themselves, even if an aporition was actually caught on film then people would say it was a hoax - so how do u prove or disprove it?

Yes I watched it Mel. Don't know what to make of it though :confused:

It was quite good last night. I was watching the web cams at the same time on here.

Will be watching it again tonight. I have never seen anything supernatural but I do believe there is something.

People say that if you're scared by it, then it won't show itself. Well I'm not scared so come on ghosties show yourselves.

I would even goto somewhere haunted, would love to sleep over somewhere that is supposedly haunted, but no-one will do it with me.

I think you should stay the night at Tyndale farm up Pendle - now that was the most beleivable thing on Most Haunted - even they wont go back:D

There's a ghost program on tonight. A one off documentary examining clains of inexplicable phenomena, including ghostly apparitions, that staff & passengers have experienced whilst on London's tube.

Believe me Mel I would. This subject has always intrigued me and I just wish I could see something so I knew for deffo it was real.

It's a bit like believing in heaven. No-one knows until you have seen it.

I HAVE to see it for myself. If I saw a ghost, then at least I would know for sure.

I mean things have even happened to me. Things I could put down to supernatural, BUT I can come up with excuses.

I'm not sure about poltergeists. I don't really think they are ghosts.

I do believe in supernatural happenings. I believe there are at least 2 explanations for ghosts. One is actual spirits of deceased people which can interact with the living. Another is like some sort of tape recording on the buildings of some happening from the past which is replayed.

Don't know whether I believe or not, I think I'm more a sceptic than believer. I don't fancy having an apparition appear in front of me to prove a point, but, I have had a private word with my Nan (who died) to let me know if there's anything after this life. Not heard anything from her yet though.

He once covered this theory about ??? years ago in one of his science type programmes .... said walls were like a tape recorder absorbing energies from the living, just finding the catalyst to release it; ... you should get together, on the same wave length .... ;) :D

Like all things under Heaven you get good and bad.

Ghosts = images or sound imprinted on a place or building.

Spirits = the Dead popping back too give advice and or support to loved ones.

Elementals = Poltergeist and the like, spirits of a type that haven’t actually lived, non human etc. A bit like fairies…..:D

I had a similar thing with my Nan too, Tinks. She promised me faithfully, that she would come and see me if she could. No sign yet and she's been gone over twenty years.

I remain completely open minded about ghosts, they may exist and they may not but as I have no proof I can't say for sure either way.

However, I almost don't want proof that they exist - if I saw one I'd be petrified.

I hadn't thought of the possibility that poltergeists could be the spirits which have never lived. It sounds like a good pssibility that one. They always seem to feature around teenagers for some reason don't they?

I’ve been told that they, Spirits, try to communicate with me but I don’t take the time to listen. I often see the odd shape or shadow, but try as I might I never seem to get anywhere.

June, I went to see a medium last week who told me that a close family member had been with me at a bad time in my life. She went on to describe where I lived and what I went through at the time, this person could only have know those facts if she had been with me. So I can only believe that my relative WAS with me in Spirit at the time.

It's more than faith, I believe we that live on after death and that they do come around us. It's up to us to open up to them, we need to learn how to talk to them and wait for an answer.........

I can see where you are going Doug. I have had times in my life where help has turned up from an unexpected source. It would be nice to think that my Nana had a hand in it.

Mine is a little different than that Junetta. My Nan gave me a pair of navy blue curtains and it was a long standing joke that when she visited she always used to comment that I hadn't hung them. When she died I did hang them and they are still there, very worn now but still hanging. I've been to quite a few mediums and if one ever comments on those blue curtains then I will believe. It is just something very personal between us that me and my Nan laughed about and only her, herself, could comment on it, it wouldn't be easy for a medium to just drag that one out of thin air. :)
