Annual Awards 2007
 

Are we having the awards this year. It was a laugh last year. I have been quiet this year so won't be up for any no doubt, but don't mind helping out with Giving an award/hosting/parking cars/serving champagne/bouncer, etc.

What do you all think? post some ideas for new categories.

Yeah I think we should....it was fun. I think Gayle should host it again. It's abit like Terry Wogan hosting Eurovision.....:D

I think you should do Wardrobe & make up Red. This year I think we should chose each others outfits, that would be fun!

Well I did start it off again but got a bit of hassle for it - someone said I was acting like I thought I was Queen Bee. Which wasn't the idea but it sort of made me think it wasn't wanted.

This may be a surprise to everyone, as it was little old me that changed the winners user name colours last year :) because Roy at the time was unable to stay up late as he was away.
He gave me temporary admin access.

Right, I reckon the awards should be in a couple of weeks time.

So, I'm happy to organise them all but would like to know which night of the week would you prefer the awards to be on - weekend or midweek?

There will be six categories


Funniest thread
Funniest putdown
Best serious thread
Best rant
Best flounce off site and then return after two weeks.
Most valued member for services to the site

Nominations for any of those threads are welcome - either by pm or on this thread - so although you may see nominations on this thread they may not be the ones that make it to the finals. In a few days time I will open up the voting. Voting will take place for one week before the ceremony. My decision is final!

Had I made my 'flounce off' public instead of a pm to someone it could quite possibly have been a contender, ;) although I wouldn't have got to collect the award had I won it, I think I'd have had I AM BANNED under my name. :o :o :o and I don't think I even lasted 7 days! Oh the shame !! :o

No, we didn't get any sleep...and I still got my two awards.

I forget what they were for now. I think one may have been for being the sweetest member on the forum, and the other was given to the person most likey to suck seed.:eek:
