Surprise !! ... not
I loved the story that Garinda put up of the surprise his mum had organised for him re. the visit of his Glasgow friends .. go on Garinda tell it again, has been lost in that temporary thread that we had.
Has anybody else discovered a surprise party beforehand and what did they do .. just keep 'mum' and pretend when it came to the night or admit you know and got into the organising. :balloon: :balloon: |
Re: Surprise !! ... not
Lol, ok.
I went to Gayle's show, and my Mum thought I'd be there all afternoon. I had a few minuted to spare so popped over to see my Mum. She looked horrified, as she was loading her car with clean bedding and cleaning stuff. All very strange. Apparently she and my two dear friends from Glasgow have been planning a suprise visit to see me. The plan was that I was supposed to meet my Mum in Franco's at seven pm, and they'd be sat there waiting for me. She then had to give the game away, and tell me they were on the way down. I decided I'd better stay and help her change the beds, and stop her rooting about too much. Thinking back all week she's been acting weird, and asking starange questions about setting the burglar alarm. She also nagged me plant up my winter window boxes and hanging baskets this week. Although the suprise didn't quite go to plan it's been a great weekend. I haven't seen them for two years, and in May they are moving to a Finka in the mountains of Gran Canaria. At the moment they are having a nap before round two of sampling Ossy/Accy nightlife begins later. |

Great story. I seriously wouldn't recommend going round Accy centre on a sunday night. It is really quiet. Most of the people out are p1ssed up idiot doorstaff. lol

Thanks Garinda, at least my darling you would know what to wear, and look smart for your friends :D What a smashing Mum. That would be my worse nightmare if anyone arranged a surprise for me and they are all there in their glad rags and me in old jeans ... |
