While accy was down & briefly living in Burnley web, an idea came to me that Burnleyweb dont have a tournament, & some are interested in joining in.

Could you quizzers help me as to whether you are happy about inviting our neighbours to play along with us - hightening the compo

Or

You want to leave it as it is???

Same rules apply to Burnley as to Accyweb only those people that use their accy/burnley web usernames accepted to join in the quiz

True point also reason im pondering idea is that i dont think Burnley will have enough players interested to hold their own & keep momentum, whereas on our that will happen - a bit of neighbourly spirit - other than footy kind hehehehehe:D

I've voted no,because of the wranglings earlier this month, I think it would be hard work to police.But when all said and done the answer is really up to you Mel,its you that has to scan all thier member as well as Accyweb to make sure its all kosher :)

Reading Mthead's post I've changed my mind and voted no. You could encourage them to join if they posted on AW as well.

Appreciate what u say guys - thanks for your input was just a thought i'd air & poll, i wouldnt of suggested it if i couldnt police it now i know the eekss & tweeks from earlier this month, but can see your point too will be considered & the majority votes in accumulation with here & Burnley.

i said on burnley web for them to have their own and then those of us who are members there get 2 goes at the quiz.

Erm thats my worry with having seperate quiz if the burnley one gets taken over by accywebbers too so whats the point in having 2 anyway???? also some getting 2 goes & could cause contention by doubling the advantage ?:D the arguements would start again

Buts what to stop people creating their own tournament now and having say a dozen logins to that one, that way they could get 130 questions a day, it wouldn't take long to start getting repeat Qs.

I voted "NO", but if they where members on AccyWeb i wouldn't be bother about it then. I just don't want to see loads of mystery names appearing again.

Oh. this is the famous northern freindly welcome the rest of england have pushed down there gobs?..you people can't even sort out whether you should join a quiz without predujice between living a few hundred yards away.. god help anyone from further afield than "aye up burnley" or "hast ti fecklin" accrington!!.( not to mention the people that don't have rotting teeth and spots all over the face).. clear case of exclusionism!

I have never joined any quiz on this site or any other, many people contribute to both sites, as I do, it would be very petty not to join hands with our Burnley bretheren who embraced the members of Accyweb without being asked in a poll.

CONCLUSION

Is that due to lack of interest on Burnley web for playing the quiz there isn't sufficient numbers for Burnley web to have their own fun trivia - wouldnt be much fun anyways. So basically if u want to partake in the fun quiz u would have to join accyweb in order to play, which is ok cos those that voted yes from Burnley are on accyweb also, & burnleywebbers Col Klutz & Neal are already eligible to play on the accywebbers quiz as they are members here as part of the rules, so if you both wish to play please do, you will be most welcome:D

Take note I used smilies, mthead is a mate even if he's a manc you are not a mate. You are a typical loud mouthed manc, the type that really p*ss me off. I don't hide who I am and I wish I was as young as you may think I am but that's life.
I can't ban you from accyweb but if you're up in court again remember it might be me on the jury.;)
