RIDDLE

A farmer and his hired help were carrying grain to the barn. The farmer carried one sack of grain and the hired help carried two sacks. Who carried the heavier load and why?

Re: RIDDLE

Under current health & safety legislation, neither of them should have been carrying heavy sacks - they should have used a sack trolley.

Re: RIDDLE

there is 3 men on one side of a rope bridge and 1 man one the other, the one man has 3 golden nuggets and has to take all 3 accross. he can only carry 2 at a time but can only go accross once !

The 3 men all have loaded guns just in case,
the bridge is a mile long and its just one peice of rope going right accross.
under that is a mile down drop.

How does he get them nuggets accross with out getting shot !

Re: RIDDLE

I reckon that all of them are on the same side but three are on one side of the rope and the other is on the other side of the rope.. So I would take the three guns off the fellas and carry them across and get the 3 fellas to carry one nugget each across!
