Mobile Phone

On friday morning at about 4am i got up to go to the loo and thought i would take the mobile and see what time it was as it has a big clock on it and i would not wake anne as i would not need to put the light on.
BIG mistake as i walked into the bathroom i banged my toe on the scales and jumped my mobile jumped out of my hand right down the loo:(
so i put the light on and fished it out it was in a leather case but dripping wet .
so i took it apart and left it on the top of telly to dry out thinking new mobile ,i have just put it all back togeather and its still working :D yipee

That was very lucky. I saw something on the "Gadget Show" about this. They said that most mobiles will still work if left to dry naturally & hadn't been in the water for too long.

:D

They really are hard to kill. I once had to leave mine in a pan of water for 3 days before it completely died.

Think i'd better explain.

I needed a new phone, so i thought i claim on the insurance. Unfortunately, after reading through the small print i realised that the best way (only) was to claim for water damage. I soaked it in water so that i couldn't be repaired.

I had a Motorola Star Tac flip phone, these had become obsolete, so they had to give me vouchers for a new model.

:D

Always read the small print when getting insurance

3 weeks without a phone, but it was worth it.
