What a luxury it would be NOT to have a mobile phone, eh? I am REALLY stingy in giving out my private number. And the company one gets turned OFF at weekends and stays off. I find that with mobiles you are never "off duty", employers should pay you a "you can reach me anytime on my mobile" bonus.

I'M with you there jo, when people cant get through to me on my home phone because i'm on the net they ring my mobile cant get away from folk. I never switch mobile off even take it to bed in case of emergency's.

for me it's the other way round. my father-in-law gets up at 5am even at weekends. When we go to bed we switch off the mobile and turn it back on as soon as we get up, so if it's off, he should now we're in bed. When he tries and can't get through, he rings on our home phone (at 6am on a Sunday!!) now that REALLY annoys me....

unlucky for you is that. if i were to phone my family i would be very lucky to find anyone up before 10am at the weekends. ;D
