talking of sweet shops there used to be a shop on burnley rd realy old shop next to a car dealership is it still there

All i know is the sweet stall in the market you can still get some of the old sweets there and up at stockleys

For both nostalgia and taste, really enjoy those Blackpool Rock sticks. It some me Granddad would alwasy bring over to us. Annie and I bought quite a bit of it but we're down to our last one now!:o :o :o

God I rem that shop ..a really old couple ran it and thats years ago so doubt it will be same folk if it is ..WE are staying up that way on sat when we come to the xmas meet so I will have a look

Give over your nearly as ow’d as I am, so you must remember them. Spangles came in various fruit flavours, Old English and Acid Drop. Bloody fantastic sweets, little square boiled sweets in a pack. :)

There's actually a season for them? That's interesting. Actually I've got a good mate who's gonna give me some of his frequent flyer miles so looks like I'll be over to get em "fresh off the dock!"
