I was visiting another forum and a member had put a link up to a petition on this website. Ok if a petition is serious and i agree with it then i will sign it but some of these petitions made me laugh!

force all ramblers/walkers to wave a red flag when walking on a "public road"

replace the national anthem with 'Gold' by Spandau Ballet

recommend to the Queen to confer a knighthood on Ringo Starr (Richard Starkey MBE)

Good one.

It always makes me laugh when you see some earnest looking type handing in their petitions at number 10.

I wonder what they do with them all?

Does some poor civil servant have to go through all the signatures to make sure there is really 23,000 and that Micky Mouise isn't written more than once?

Or does it go straight into the bin?

I hope it's recycled.:D

Theres a link on that website if you look further down for rejected petitions!!! Now some of them you cant put on here because its a family forum!!! :D
