There is an alarm ..............

....... going off outside which is driving me batty. :mad:

It's not one of those continuously going house alarms which you can almost become immune to after a while, oh no, this one has more in common with a man snoring. It sort of warbles, whistles and screaches in a manner resembling a bird being strangled - then it stops and you just get used to the peace and quiet when .... off it goes again! I think it's a car alarm. :(

:eek: Oh Willow ,i feel sorry for you,it sounds awfal,,,trouble is, the more you try to ignore alarms like that the louder it gets

It's not so much the volume, it's the 'waiting for the other shoe to drop' when it stops.
