Wouldnt you wonder?
Villagers in Malaysia have finally found out why 11 dogs guarding their fruit orchard disappeared - a 22-foot python had swallowed them.
"I was shocked to see such a huge python,'' orchard-keeper Ali Yusof said while being pictured with the snake, which was as thick as a tree trunk. Villagers did not harm the snake, which was tied to a tree then handed to wildlife officials. Wouldnt you think if you'd lost 11 dogs that was disappearing without a trace that something was hunting them? :D |
Re: Wouldnt you wonder?

imho there is absolutly no reason whatsoever for a snake to exist , kill em all :D |
Re: Wouldnt you wonder?
I'm not much afraid of snakes but that is too freaky. Then again, I would imagine Malaysia would be kinda used to large snakes eh?

Re: Wouldnt you wonder?
Maybe they thought someone from another village was nicking their dogs? I'm presuming they didn't disappear in quick succession but that replacement dogs survived there for quite a while.

Re: Wouldnt you wonder?
Its the bit about tying it to the tree - like how do you do that without being swallowed?

Re: Wouldnt you wonder?
You'd think such a talented Python would have been snapped up by a stripper, to be used in her act.
Unless of course she also perfomed with dogs. |

OOOPS!

Re: Wouldnt you wonder?
I think these folks should just protect their orchards and stuff by just using huge snakes thereby cutting out the middle-man (dog). Totally agree jen, plain daft to not figure this all out before losing 11 dogs.

Re: Wouldnt you wonder?
I'd still be a little worried - I thought large snakes only ate approx. once every 12 months, they consume their prey whole then slowly digest it. Seems to me there might still be a few snakes still out there if 11 dogs have gone missing!!!
