It's not beer beer Cashy. It's root beer. Not easy to obtain around these parts and smells like Germolene but occasionally I go to Whittle le Woods for a can or several.

Busman says at 70p a can he can see why it's called Mug! :D

You used to be able to buy it at Fitzpatricks in Rawtenstall Willow - thats nearer than Whittle-le-woods isnt it? By the fitzpatricks is the temperance bar in Rawtenstall at the bottom of Bank Street.

Ooh I know where Fitzpatricks is. I never thought of looking there. They have one at Barden Mill called Bundeberg in little dumpy bottles but I don't like it as much as Mug - of course I drank it panther :D It was lovely.

:( It seems that Fitzpatricks don't do Root Beer. Their range is Sarsaparilla, Dandelion & Burdock, Cream Soda, Blood Tonic, Ginger Beer and Lemon & Ginger Punch. Not sure what blood tonic is though.
