a vision of AccyWebbers
I don't know if anyone else does this but when I think of some AccyWebbers I get an image in my mind which is often nothing at all like the real person. Sometimes it can be connected to a past or present avatar, Sometimes it's the name. Mick for instance, I see as Einstein, Entwisi as a penguin, A-B as Groucho Marx, Mani as a normal human being but with green skin, Cashman as a pile of gold sovereigns ......... does anybody else do this?
|
Re: a vision of AccyWebbers
This is one of the reasons we started the meets as you get an image of the person your posting to but very often its nothing like them when you meet them.
Tealeaf being one |

Re: a vision of AccyWebbers
I know what you mean willow........
So people I have met at meets are NOTHING like I expected. I just go off posts that they make, that gives me a sense of age, and what they MUST look like.....but they never ever look like what I imagine lol. |
Re: a vision of AccyWebbers

I've got visions of grannyclaret at home weaving cotton.. and perhaps wondering what the future might hold now those fancy new "looms" had been invented.. the ones that you don't need to use your feet to operate..

Re: a vision of AccyWebbers
Willlow. a 1st point help desk form filler..some one that would canvass for a party in Ireland.. and still not know the difference between republicans and loyalists.. a person that calls for invalids to be excluded from having children on the basis of what a mate told her about a programme that she never saw.. an idiot.

Re: a vision of AccyWebbers
Until I saw pics from the meets, I'd always thought that Rindy's Andy Warhol avatar was actually him. I was knew to Accyweb and thought anyone with a pic in the avatar was of themselves. I guess I was off a bit eh?

Re: a vision of AccyWebbers
Thanks for the compliment Rindy but I think pretty went by the board ages ago. I've had jet black hair since I was born although it's fading now, lol.
I find that the older I get the more I look like my father, Freddy Martin. Long gone but used to frequent most of the supping places in Church and Ossy. |
Re: a vision of AccyWebbers
Nice pic June. :) That looks like a large black pudding there. :D
|
Re: a vision of AccyWebbers
Some people seem to have this impression of me as a humourless politico, intent on defiling hills and misusing lottery money for wimmen's causes and arty farty projects.
How true! ;) :D |
