Deal or No Deal?

Is anyone out there compelled to watch Deal or No Deal on TV?

I know Edmonds is an annoying , but I am hooked on watching the game to see how the loony contestants play. Or am I alone?

No definitely not alone simon, I have the video timer set to record it every day... can only watch it off tape though and tend to watch a 45 mins programme in about 15mins as it can get a bit boring at times.

But don't you just love some of the contestants they've had on, especially psychic sarah eh!!!!!!!!! well spooky

Re: Deal or No Deal?

sometimes I end up watching a whole weeks worth of progs in about an hour, now thats interesting as each game is still fresh in your mind when you watch the next one.

I also have picture of the banker in my mind as I read somewhere that it was an actor who has turned to producing and he used to be in spooks when it first started!!!

Re: Deal or No Deal?

Wow you've got it bad! A whole week in one sitting!

Still if you video it you can forward the bits where Edmonds does daft antics. Think I will try that nice tip!

Yeah, who is that banker? The papers will find him out..

It was in the papers see pic below, actor glenn hugill, was also in corrie, actually come to think of it don't think he was in spooks after all. He's also a producer on the game show

Give taping it a try it's miles better as you can fast forward through all the ads and the home quiz etc... Plus watching a whole week on tape is not much longer than watching one episode direct from CH4

He also presented the Mole if anyone remembers that!! Now despite sounding like even more of a saddo, I loved that programme :o :)

Yeah he was in Corrie, he was about to marry Fiona when Jim MacDonald barged into the Church, saying they'd had an affair. lol. I think he was a policeman.

Yes it is, you can borrow it if you want to have a go, just in case you were thinking of buying it :)

I know lots of people love it, but it drives me mad.

They all get so excited and giddy, and come up with a load of formulas.

It's a game of chance!

The only bit of skill is I suppose knowing when to bank, but even then it's down to luck, not skill or judgement.

Give me the Weakest Link any evening.

My Mum's going on weakest link, she has to go next week for it to be filmed. Don't know when she'll be on though.

They did and it was, someone won the £250,000 a few weeks back but it was in the papers beforehand as you say.
