Bacon and egg butts
 

:D I really, really do enjoy a good bacon and egg buttie for breakfast and the shop I go to does them beautifully, the bacon is never too crisp and the yolk in the egg is always nice and runny he makes his own oven bottom baps and the whole concoction is magic.

Today I got one as usual and was sitting at my keyboard reading accyweb, when I did my usual trick of lifting the corner of the bread to check where the yolk is it was facing towards me so I turned the butty around so that I knew it would be the last thing I ate and could move away from my P.C. when I was getting close to the dangerous runny bit.

Today however disaster! :mad: I bit into my butty and egg on my face, in my hair over a clean pair of jeans, soaking into the carpet draining and congeling between the keys of my keyboard and running down my monitor, (hey I might leave that bit on the monitor it's like some modern art form type screen saver :D ), the reason for this accident? well it seems that today was my 'lucky' day and the shop had put a double yoker on my sandwich so when I bit in hard everything got a share.:o

Less you don't half get yourself into some predicaments! :D

All this could be avoided my making your own bacon and egg butty. Then you'd know exactly where the yolk was.

I know we shouldn't eat over our keyboards - but who doesn't?
I make a batch of cookies every week - have to upturn my keyboard daily to knock the crumbs out. When I have added crushed walnuts, it sometimes needs a toothpick to root out the big bits.
