Not seen much of this series,saw last week's and it looked good. Is this the end of the series or what ? Not really got into it with the new Doctor but John Barrowman is bloody gorgeous (:rolleyes:)

Doctor Who is really really bad, I cant stand things like that. I didnt think anyone seriously watched it and liked it for what it was. I thought they must've just thought it was so bad it was funny.

I was watching it with my girls and when that Capt. Jack revelation came we all looked at each other the same way the Doctor and Martha did. :D
Mimi reckons it was the Master's wife who picked up that ring. I wonder if he can still regenerate even after that funeral pyre. |

It's usually on again on Sundays so check the telly out today. Failing that, I recorded it for Busman because he was working so after he's seen it you can watch it on our tape.

Thought the episode was a bit soppy to be honest & let the rest of the series down.
Just seemed too corny all the way through & for me it didn't even compare to the quality of writing in the previous episodes. Still, that's only my opinion & I can't wait for the next series in Autumn. |

During the closing credits, it said Dr Who would return at Christmas with a storyline titled, "Voyage of the Damned".

The storyline is immaterial!!! I have watched it from the beginning of time and just love it for its sheer imagination--- plus David Tennant is so cute but John Barrowman is so incredibly gorgeous--- is it true he is NOT ahem!!!! interested in the female sex!!! God, what a waste!!!!

Do you think that when they first introduced The Face Of Boe in Series 2 episode 1, New Earth - the one with the cat nurses at the hospital - they writers knew that it was going to be Jack all along?? At this point we knew he couldn't die, because that happened in the previous episode.

Yes Kylie has signed up to play a baddie in the Christmas episode. Martha will appear in 3 episodes of Torchwood, and then come back to Doctor Who for a few episodes near the end of the series.
The rumours are that Tom Ellis who played Tom Milligan in the last episode (the guy that met Martha on the beach) is going to be the new assistant. Sorry to be sexist but I think the assistant should be a woman, and if it is a man than theres only one for the job and thats Capt Jack!! |

There was a male assistant/companion once before (Fraser Hines) but there was a girl too at the same time.

Doctor Who's new assistant is to be Catherine Tate??? Is that the best they could do! Not that I've seen her in anything other than her so-called comedy series but I can't watch that for more than a few minutes, she gets on my nerves - ah well I'll reserve judgement till the next series starts - just hope she doesn't spoil it
