Accymel's Bush? Escaped

Mel, I saw this and thought of you. :D

People would have seen this no doubt, but is it safe to allow this fantastic specimen to continue to grapple with the viaducts masonry.

Re: Accymel's Bush? Escaped

It could at least be a buddleia, given the floral town theme currently happening in Accy.:D

Re: Accymel's Bush? Escaped

No doubt there will be a debate as to whose responsibility it is to deal with that. Is it the council or is it the railway track?

Rail people, I tried to complain to the council about the state of the line and amount of rubbish behind a fence they said not there problem. If the council can get out of anything they will.

Nice bush BTW.:D

Could you just imagine if the viaduct became unstable? It doesn't bear thinking about.

Well took me 3 hours to cut a set of hedges down that were over 10 feet high 4 feet deep and at least 12 feet broad and did it with a 400mm cross cut saw. Pic shows it once half the depth was cut away. So if Mel thinks she had a bush problem then she she is lucky she didnt have this. Add to my woes cousins hubby came down 20 mins before I finished and said I could have borrowed his alligator saw.

Can you not vajazzle it up a bit?

Stick a bit of tinsel round it?

Hang a few baubles, and a chocolate starfish on it?

...and before you ask, no!

I'm not going to sit on top of it, waving my wand about.

:D:p;):p:D

Well it's had a few fairies, kids & peed up people trapped by it or on top of it whilst i had it the reasons it expanded so much & became increasingly hard to prune!

It's had snow on it & various objects that was thrown at or over it - even a new Xmas tree brand new that peed me off so much, hahaha much to amusement of the neighbours, least one of them hasn't had a heart attack since bush left lol.

That infernal bush was a menace suppose HH can thank us for making a fence for them - in place of the wild bush. Old age and no talking point now :( I did have a pic of it on here somewhere it had a load of the white stuff on it rindy lolol
