The worst ever on spider solitaire
 

I asked him if i could show him up on accyweb and he said go for it!!! :D

Spug has just done a game on spider solitaire. Now any normal person will do finish the game in about 100 - 120 moves. This numbskull has just finished it in ........ wait for it .......... 225 moves. Now if we were talking about the hard version of spider solitaire (all four suits) then that would be ok (seeing as i've never finished one of them yet) but its the easy version - ONE suit. Talk about hopeless!!! And hes celebrating it as well!!! Anyway now i've showed him up

I only ever play the easiest version - I am pleased with myself if I get under 100 - got 95 a couple of times

I can do the 2 sets ,no problem ,,but not the 4 sets...
Its the freecell game i cant do, can anybody explain it?:confused:

I play freecell every day (addicted) - once completed it 31 times in succession - I have a success rate of over 85%

What does it mean when the screen flashes,, does it mean there are no more moves ?

Usually it means you have lost -but not neccessarily - I have wheedled my way past a screen flash fairly often. Locate the aces first and try to get them up early as you can.

Windows xp - click on programs - games and all the games should come up - solitaire, spider solitaire, freecell, minesweeper etc

Before that it was in Accessories - Games

If this one doesn't go to bed soon she will collapse here, she didn't go to sleep till about four o'clock this morning and she was up and out for eight forty five, so she is bushed. Thanks for your help it is truly appreciated, Bernie;)

In an effort to see what all the Spider Solitaire business was all about, I just had to give it a try. . . . and then another . . . .and then another (ooh Brian, you've scored 101 with one suit after an hour of bloody trying) . . let's try 2 suits, and trying . . . . . and trying............................................ ...................................

Its still spider solitaire you just have all four suits to go at instead of just one or 2. Enjoy Brian. Dont blame me if you are up all night and all day trying to do it - i cant do 4 suits.

More advice PLEASE, when playing with more than one suit( I am trying two) do the same suit have to be together? I seem to be getting mixed messages, so any advice would be appreciated!!!:eek:

If you ping the word score at the bottom it gives you a move,or gives you a raspberry noise if there isnt one,,, but thats cheating,,,,:o

I'm finding two suits hard!! There again I was struggling with just one the other night, so I will just have to concerate.:D Come on folks lets have a record of your top score, I haven't really been writing mine down but will start as of now. Just keep at it Margaret, I was the same and now I really love it. Having said that I have only done the easy one, when I tried the second one I've kept giving up but will keep trying till I get it.

I suppose you have to keep at it, but I get so fed up that I can't seem to master it......I sometimes feel like my bum cheeks are square from sitting trying to beat the thing. Cleaning up almost becomes enticing(I said ALMOST)!

My first ever attempt of Spider Solitaire - just one suit - took 103 moves. I'm going for two suits next.

I'm not sure which I like the best. The best I got in the 4 suits was 188 moves. I think I like the 2 suits one the best though.

I have finally mangaged to manage four suits - I hate to be beaten :D

Anyway, it took 312 moves.

And I won't be playing it again. :D

I've just had a do at Freecell, sorry, but I found it way easier than Spider - did it in a couple of minutes.

I think it is programmed to let you win a few games easily then it gives you a right stinker with all the aces buried at the top of rows plus a bunch of 3 or 4 of the same number all in the same row.

a game play tip - right click a card and you can see which suit it is

I finally got a 98 move in single spider and a 108 in the double. However, as soon as I feel I've conquered this game, have been unable to get through the 4 suits. Still stuck with the 188. At least I'm able to walk away before dawn breaks now!:p

Best on single 95 best on double 117 As for bed before dawn that wont last. :p
