Just watching them isn't the same as getting all the G force and the wind in your hair though is it?

That reminds me of something I said on Friday night while walking past some B&B's in Blackpool.
I asked the people with us if they watched CSI on TV. They did so I said that you would not like to shine one of those ultaviolet lights over the bed sheets in a Blackpool B&B :rolleyes::D

Don't let that put you of Slinky - I could be wrong, I often am :D

Oh yes I forgot, we parked next to the Football ground. On the way back to the car the ladies needed the loo, like they do. They put 20p in the slot and opened the door only to find two adults and a child spending the night in their as they had nowhere else to sleep.

It's just reminded me with Willow mentioning G force, did a tandem paraglide jump from 5,500 feet whilst on holiday in Turkey and the bloke I was attached too  asked if I wanted to do a spiral spin which was ace and that was 2 G's...and yes I have the video of me screaming to prove it :D

Had a great time at Blackpool!! and Neil we didn't stay in a B&B we stayed at Pontins lol.

Friday we spent the night at pontins getting drunk, had a right laugh.

The saturday had breakfast then headed for Pleasure Beach!!

We queued up for about 1 hour for our wrist bands!! then when we got to front the machine broke down and they said we would need to join the queue for the other. so I said to the women " if you think i'm queuing again think again!! " so she served us next. Talking about running a wee up in a brewery!! :(

We then got into the park to find the rides don't actually open til 11am, it was 10:15am so we had a wander round!!

First ride we went on was the Bling!! great ride, been on this quite a few times now. Then we went on pepsi max big one!! and loads after these.

The queuing was horrendous!! for every ride!! even the pathetic little rides like love boat and ghost train was a 40 minute wait!! :(

Infusion queue was long, very long, but it seems to decrease quite rapid and is worth the wait :D

We stayed at the park until 8:30pm and my feet were aching so badly!!

It was a good day but I will never go at weekend ever again!! the queue's for everything are just ridiculously long!!

And can I just say ...... the rides I laughed on most were Roller coaster and Big dipper!! as they say, the old ones are usually the best :D

We had a great time too!

We arrived about 2.30ish and checked in at the hotel - we were staying at The Imperial. We caught a tram down to the Pleasure Beach and collected our tickets which we'd booked in advance. Then we went and discovered that all the rides had the most horrendous queues - why were there so many people there on a regular Saturday in September?

We looked at the queue for Infusion but decided to go on the Big Dipper and then Revolution. It had got to a bit later in the day and I pointed out that we'd walked about three miles just going backwards and forwards to see if the queue for Infusion had died down and so we might as well just wait for it. So we got in the queue, it took an hour to get to the front and it was over with very quickly but it's a good ride. I wouldn't wait that long again though. After that we went on the Big One (twice), Avalanche, Grand National, Bling, Space Invader (one of my personal favourites) and anything else in between. We didn't leave the Pleasure Beach until about 10 o'clock and we DID have fish and chips on the front.

We caught a tram back to the hotel but there were a few drunken lads on it who were fffing a bit (wasn't too bad for us but a couple with kids got on and it was a bit uncomfortable then).

The hotel was really hot but we were exhausted so flaked out.

Had a very nice breakfast in the hotel apart from an older couple who were incredibly rude to the waitresses all because they couldn't be bothered to wait a few minutes for their coffee despite all the waiters and waitresses being run off their feet. They were a really posh couple who obviously thought that waiting was beneath them - it was almost as bad as the yobs on the tram!

Anyway, went home via St Annes and all in all had a lovely weekend.

Glad you had a good time too Slinky - I was looking out for you but we were probably in different queues at different times! :D

Oh, forgot to mention - funny bit.

When we went on Bling we were stood behind this other couple - as we were getting to the front of the queue the woman started looking a bit nervous. When we got on it she asked the chap working there if Bling had ever broken down, he laughed and said, 'yes, this morning, they were stuck up there for ages'. I'm pretty sure he just said it to wind her up. Anyway, it started off and then when it got to the bit where you're sort of spinning up at the top for a few seconds, I heard the bloke from the couple saying, 'it's ok, honey, you can get through this, I love you sweetheart, we'll be down soon' and all that sort of stuff. It was almost as though they were in a life threatening situation and he was talking her down from the ledge or something. I wonder why people go on these things if they are absolutely terrified by them? I mean, I love them, but I know a lot of people don't, so why bother if it's that unpleasant?

Daft thing was we saw him later as his wife was in the loos and asked if he was in the bad books and he said no because it had been her idea to go on Bling in the first place. :D

Hahaha love that bit Gayle :D Me and my mate were the first ones on the Bling that morning!! (( it didn't break down though!!)) wouldn't have minded if it had, it's a great view from up there :D

OMG space invaders?? don't talk to me about that bloody ride

I have never been on it. So we queued up for 1hr 15 mins to go on it. I kept thinking ' well the queue is massive for this ride so it must be absolutely fantastic!! ' FINALLY got to the front. Got in..... it was more like the silly cat and mouse ride!! and over before we knew it :mad: I was very annoyed!! and wouldn't even queue for 10 mins for that bloody ride.

Tell you another we went in ..... HOUSE OF IMPOSSIBLE!! Now the walk through was boring!! nowt much to tickle the fancy like. But when you go in that room, where you sit on the bench and put your seat belts on!!:eek::eek:
OMG it's the room that is spinning, but it makes you feel like it's you that is up side down..... that ride turns my tummy and it doesn't even move lol
