Re: Iggle Piggle

I'm fluent in them all (unfortunately!)

Siobhan loves them. Shes got iggle piggle, Upsy Daisey and Makka Pakka in her bed at night. Oh did I mention she knows teh dances as well?

i really don't know how they do it but they make some really weird stuff that the kids just love.

Anyone for a ride on the Ninky Nonk?

LOL :D My daughter loves this programme. Her favourite is Upsy Daisy and she is so cute to watch when she's in her nightie, singing and dancing away to the songs. You're so right when you say the tunes stick in your head though....most embarrassing when your sitting at your desk at work and catch yourself softly singing 'yes my name is Iggle Piggle'. The person next to you says 'what's that you're singing?' ......oh the shame!:o

I haven't a clue what they're on about and I don't think she does either but she does love the songs. I'm not really a fan of this nonsense talk as a rule but her little face lights up when it starts so I let her watch it.:)

I've never seen this(done my time watching kids tv) but I can remember when my daughter lived here with her eldest. Our grand-daughter had a video tape of nursery rhymes which was forever playing. Ian and I were going for a drink one day and we both started singing one of the nursery rhymes. If anybody had heard us they would have thought we should be locked up. Oh the embaressment:D

BBC - CBeebies - Grownups - About CBeebies; In the Night Garden

I've just been looking at what it's all about. It's the brain child of Anne Wood, creator of Teletubbies so that explains all the nonsense talk.:)

Re: Iggle Piggle

They do reckon that Tellytubbies was really good for kids who were a bit behind their peers.
