i see that rindy got 10 out of 10 in the quiz again but this time in 36 seconds,that is 3.6 seconds per question,that includes reading it and then putting mouse over correct answer and then submitting it,seems nearly impossible to me, so whats the answer rindy vasalene or sonic mouse, i did same and took me about 60 secs

What can I say?

I'm a quick reader, as has been witnessed by Miss Harwood Red, who once stood behind me whilst I played the quiz.

Playing the Global Trivia three times a day does help increase your speed. Although I'll never be as fast as some people, who can get 10/10 in about fifteen seconds. My best is 24 seconds.

If it makes you feel any better, because of Parkinson's Disease, I have to use the mouse with my left hand, even though I'm naturally right handed...otherwise I'd be much faster.:D

At first I was Susspicious (SP) of the Speedy garinda.:D

A Lot of Questions are repeated so he's probably answered them before.:D

By the way, if you are trying to hint that I am somehow cheating, you are way off the mark.

I've never cheated at anything in my life. The only person you cheat is yourself.

Occasionally you do get some repeats, but more than that you get used to reading the questions, and not reading all the unnecessarry guff.;)

At this very moment I'm waiting to hear from the DVLA, who will send me to Withington hospital, to test my reaction times, and to make sure I'm able to drive safely, and therefore keep my driving licence.

Perhaps alan7554 could send them a testimonial about my ability, and save them the time and money this will cost.

It is true that playing the other quizs helps increase your speed. When I played all the quizs regularly over the summer, I was a lot faster than I am now.
There are some real speed demons on the main site. I've seen some of them do 10/10 in 14 seconds. God only knows how they do that!

yes I did witness el speedo clicking away... put him off though cos he missed one :D

Still couldn;t work out how he did it so fast, it's almost like he is on two questions at the same time :eek:

Also noticed that Shillelagh got 10/10 today...in 15146 seconds!

Perhaps she started, popped up to see Spug in Scotland, and finished it when she got back.:D

it wouldve been a lot longer than that if i had have gone up there. What happened was that the damn thing timed me out on ie came up error 404. When i went to see if it had gone through it hadnt so done it again got 10/10 again and it took the timing from earlier!!!

By the way in that 15146 seconds i made my tea, eat it, washed up, washed my uniform, dried it, got all the fluff and paper tissue off it, read the bbc website, made 5 brews, drove spug crazy, put my milk bottles out, emptied the bins and smoked numerous fags.

Hows that for a description of what you can do in 15146 seconds!!!

you are slipping up rindy, a good 3 seconds slower 2 day, i did it in 61 secs and got 9 should have got 10 but when i clicked answer 2 it did not get highlighted and i did,nt see it till i put my answers in ooooooooooops,well done, sorry to here about your parkinsons disease, i know a joke about that and will p.m you it WELL DONE you clever sod

It does help to play all the Global Challenge trivia games. There you have to answer 15 questions, so answering 10 is that much easier. Many questions are repeats. Sometimes I'll merely look at the answers first and know the correct one.

For me the hardest quizzes are the ones with the easiest questions. I take WAY too much time making doubly sure I get the right answer checked.

I say well done to evryone who is willing to play. Everybody adds to the fun and the challenge. I have learned a ton of stuff by doing the trivia and thank Rindy (or maybe curse him:rolleyes:) for getting me into it all!:p

I hate those too. I had one yesterday, in the quiz that apparently inspired this thread. Something about pinning a corsage to your prom date's dress. I had to read it about three times, but usually those silly questions are the ones I normally get wrong.

I guess the ones I hate the most are the ones where I skim over the word NOT! Hence I pick the first answer I see as it would certainly be correct if NOT was not there.

All part of the challenge. Would be quite boring if all went smoothly and all questions were simple and concise eh?

I got my best time ever in the Global Challenge last night.

I scored 15/15 in geography, in the eighth division, in 44 seconds, which got me a first place world wide.:)

Sadly having just played now, I only scored 9/15. I think I play better when I'm half asleep.:D
