Having watched last nights dragons den i found it highly amusing when this guy came on with a toilet training idea for little boys.
It was the ping pong ball in the toilet . basicly when traing a little lad to use the loo just throw a ping pong ball in and let the child aim for it , IMO its not that bad an idea for making it fun but it just got me wondering just how many of you fellas out there at your age now saw a ping pong ball in the loo , would aim for it and see how many times you could make it bounce

I've heard of people toilet training boys by putting a penny in the toilet bowl and telling them to aim for that but never heard of it being done with a ping pong ball. I would have thought you'd get a bit of splash-back if they weed on a ping pong ball! :eek: Not pleasant.

With this thread and the toilet roll thread we've got bogs on the brain on Accy web tonight! LOL :D

It reminds me of the urinals in germany. the have a kind of soap ball that when you urinate moves and there is a goal and you aim for the ball and hit it up the little hill into the goal and it comes back to your. Pritty intresting take on urinals that

with the intention meant ie little boys , dont really think thered be too much of a splash back . but still intrigues me to find how many fellas would aim for it if they saw one hehe

That Italian mother-in-law I once had, assured me that Italian men were trained to sit facing the wall to do it. Never took the trouble to find out if they did ;)

No they all seemed interested at first but then i went loo (coincidentally):D and missed the bit where they lost interest ..
its first time id heard of it but listening to you guys seems it aint that new an idea . they did say either boots or super drug had bought 17000 of em though but you dont know if thats always true ..

Don't give us half a story ....what happens to the ping pong ball ? does it get flushed or fished out and re-used , is a little fishing net kept in the bathroom ? ...........whats wrong with the little lad going out in the backyard and peeing in the grate under the kitchen sink drain ? :confused: :confused:

Men have always had something to aim at, when the person that used the toilet before you has left skid marks or been pebble dashing, it's almost automatic that while we are pee-ing we attempt to remove as much of the residual waste as possible. :D

In fact I can remember a cousin of mine (from Liverpool), explaining a Scouse phrase that was used to describe this hobby, I just can't remember what it was at the moment.

Thats exactly what hubby said! think it was just advertising, premises etc.. does seem a bit sensless .. (good idea for the little un) although would be intrgued to see just how its packaged .
