Regarding Teabag's rant at the BBC, I'm sort of in agreement. Less money should be spent on over inflated salaries for the likes of Ross and Norton, and more money spent on commissioning new and original programmes.

Though looking back through some old listings, there was a lot of dross and repeats on the Beeb, even then.

The TV Room Plus

As for Emily. You'd have thought butter wouldn't have melted in her mouth.

Perhaps she should audition for Gladiators - The Teens.

Must say even then television didn't look like a bundle of fun. Having said that people didn't watch TV all the time and family life was all the better for it IMHO.

Wouldn't you just. I'm surprised at her. It's only right that she's off the show because of this.

Lol, I missed it as well, and had to ask my friends in Gran Canaria what was said. Apparently Dermot just said she'd decided to leave the show after what had appeared in the press this week. I've been told there's also another video of Emily doing the rounds, in this one were she attacks a boy with a knife.

In tonight's show the camera scanned the audience, and I thought Brigitte Neilson was stood in the audience, only to discover moments later it was Rhydian!

Camper than Liberace's jewellry box, but fabulous. Singing a Bassey song about 'coming out'. God bless him.

Beverley and Nicky were both bang on it tonight too.

Thanks for that Rindy.

I think Alisha did very well this week. Last week and the week before, she was very shaky ( her voice ) but this week she was bob on. Probably nerves, I know I would be shaky too ( and I would clear the room ):D but she did do very well.

Yeah, it was Alisha's best week. The song really suited her. I hope she's not in the bottom two this week.

My prediction for the bottom two places are Same Difference and (No) Hope.:D

We were laughing at Same Difference too. The VT they show before they sing is always a good time to get extra sympathy votes. When she said she was bullied at school this week, she should have said it was by a well built black girl, whose name began with an E.:D

ROFLMAO, sounds like she has beat everyone else up

This little meek and mild sweetheart!! YEAHHHHHH RIGHT, tell ya what though, our little Emily could always give Knobenders a ring, I hear they are crying out for good little actresses at the moment :D

It's not a Bassey song, although she sang it in an M&S commercial. I think it's a Pink song (I may be wrong on that though so don't quote me) and it's actually 'I'm coming up' and is apparently about drugs.

Wow, look at my music knowledge! :D

BTW - I think Rhydian is amazing, he's camp, fabulous and just a little bit scary. I want him to win.

garinda 03-11-2007 20:55

Re: Emily Booted Off The X Factor

You're right, it was originally a Pink song, but Rhydian's rendition was definitely more Dame Shirley than Pink.:D
