I love brandy and babycham at christmas, but it's one of those drinks where you don't need too many.

I also like gin with Tia Maria over ice, sounds, awful but it tastes very nice.

I must say it doesn't sound very nice but I'll take your word for it. Thought I'd heard all the weird mixes while doing bar work but that is a first for me!!!

One of the nicest (for me) cold weather drinks is an Irish coffee, though I prefer Tia Maria to whiskey if possible, properly made with the cream "head" on top. You drink it quite hot, and get a cream moustache, then spoon the cream and sugar out of the bottom of the glass (this can be followed by an exploratory finger from glass to mouth if no one's looking).

A couple or three of them and you're as warm as toast and quite.....mellow. :)

Bushmills or Tullamore Dew, when available and coffee , (the proper fresh ground and brewed stuff , not the instant granular rubish )

Same drink at christmas as any other time of year for me, southern comfort and lemonade. Not much of a drinker though to be honest.

Re: Little Tipple??

Cup of freshly brewed ground coffee, milk or cream, no sugar, but sweetened to taste with Tia Maria, hardly my fault if I have a sweet tooth is it?

Re: Little Tipple??

Double baileys with a single shot of tia maria in it. Thats very nice.
Irish Coffee love that

The only thing is its a non-alcoholic christmas for me i've to stick to the orange and soda or coffee with milk no sugar cos im sweet enough!!! :D:D:D
