Spug has just rang me up.

He was round at his cousins setting up a tv aerial..... in the loft what does he do - go through the ceiling!!! He says hes got a bruise on his leg and swollen and bruised ***** lol

I know i shouldnt laugh but.... :D:D:D

Awwww poor spuggie... how could you possibly laugh, glad he's not too badly hurt, probably more his pride!!

Oh no, on the contrary, laugh away, that is funny to see, seen it several times, (not spuggie though, other people), tickles me every time!

Thing is though he had his bike with him..... hes pushing it home!!!! :D:D:D

I watched my mum go thro the ceiling at my brothers house when he was doing it up and we've got a great photo somewhere of her legs coming through the kitchen ceiling. That was round about 27 years ago and i can still picture it now and her shouting at my dad and bro to help her and theyre both laughing their heads off!!! lol:D

By the way i told him he'd made headlines on accyweb ....... he went ooooohhhhhhhhhh nnnnnnnnoooooooooo!!!!!

It was too good to keep quiet about wasnt it!!! :D:D:D

They will become golden at one stage or another...as all bruises yellow with age.
I have to say Jen I didn't laugh until the bit about the bike.......then I nearly p'd myself.
Hope he has some arnica at home.

He knows about this - i was talking to him when i posted it!!!

He also knows your comments as well.

I just know one thing - which i learnt last time he came down - DONT let him do any diy etc - he managed to bust my lawnmower!!! He stood on the plug and bent the pin so had to get another plug for it. Yes he did wire it up and yes it is safe mainly because i had to finish it off.

did the same sort a thing meself, n landed on the newly changed bed, was very lucky as no injury apart from scraped skin, but as Spugs injured himself a bit.:rofl38::rofl38::rofl38::rofl38:

Mallard how can i make him a brew when hes up in scotland will wait till he comes down.

Cashy im still laughing and hes still aching now ....... i told him he wont be doing that again he said guess who's going to have a go at mending it? something about plasterboard or hardboard. Told him i didnt want to know cos otherwise i'd be worried hed go through again and really hurt himself.

Hes gone to have an argument with the council today. Told him not to lose his temper, just take notes, make sure he got the names of the people he spoke to and then put the complaint in to the ombudsman, seeing as hes now had no heating for 6 months, they can have the complaint in there.
