I have wanted a tatoo for ages but i have needles and cant decide what i want to have drawn on me for the rest of my life. Only one i know for sure is my little lads name on the inside of my right arm. Will get it one day.

Granny, I think that we were separated at birth. My view too.

I always wonder what they will look like on 80 year old wrinkled and saggy skin, and it makes my toes curl.

I supose the VERY tiny ones on your shoulder or somewhere like that arnt too bad , but i hate to see people with tattoes all over their arms ,necks ,fronts, backs and faces ,,,,,,,YUK,,,,,,,

Yeh, you have to stretch the skin to see what it was when your older.. :rolleyes: Think maybe those that only last a few years is a good option. but don't know much about them to be honest.

I guess that might have something to do with it, but i don't reckon I would have followed this trend if I had been younger......I am too fickle.....what I like one week, I don't like the week after....and after all fashions change, but a tattoo is forever.
No thank you......I'll stick to unadorned skin.

Must admit I behave like one sometimes .. :D

Notice no one has come back to say "What you lot old fogeys ??!, No way" .. so that fishing for a compliment didn't work ... :rolleyes:

Also, lots of these tattoos are subject to fashion, don't you think ? Some of the earlier ones like butterflies, etc., do seem a bit outdated now and not long before the Celtic type ones (or whatever they are) will date people like a stamp on an egg.
