Re: Some good news.......

You know what is going to be the downside to this now though don't you. Going to get loads of threads from Miss Kitty :-
  • Where can I buy a Pink Wedding Dress ?
  • Can you recommend a confectioners who do Pink icing ?
  • What's the best deal on Pink Champagne ?
  • Any outfits for little boys that are on the pinky side .. not too ponsy though. ?
  • Any such thing as Pink gold. ?
  • Are Pink carnations in bloom in September.?
  • Can I buy sunglasses in bulk for my guests.?

etc. !

Only teasing, could be helpful to lots of future brides ... :D

Problem is Mummiboo ... lots of men these days don't realise 'Engaged' is 'Engaged to be Married' .. not the sign on a public loo which can be switched easily to 'Vacant'. Shame there is no 'Breach of Promise' anymore ... :D:D

Anyway, sorry Miss K. digressing from your happiness ... x

Re: Some good news.......

Thankyou so much everyone-i have loved reading your messages.....im sooo excited about it all,but have not put any threads on here about the wedding because i don't want to turn into a wedding bore:o

LOL@Katex!I'm getting wed in Burgundy......no pink at all:eek::eek::eek:
Also as we both come from mostly male homes and all my friends have little boys we dont have anyone for bridesmaid/flower girls to dress in pink.....im quite upset:(but Jack will be the best page boy ever-along with one of his little mates :)

Re: Some good news.......

that is very good news indeed. Hope you have as much fun planning your wedding as Debbie and I did with ours.

We will be headed to London in May, but will not have time to come to Lancashire this time. Also, the $US is just about useless in terms of value.

Where have I been? Just really, really busy. :D Apart from the marriage (which is great, thanks for asking), I've been very busy heading up a charity drive for the New Jersey District of Kiwanis. Also, Debbei and I merged two houses worth of stuff into one. While we had done a pretty good job planning the furniture, master bedroom, etc., combining two households is a big job. The local Methodist thrift shop has been getting all sorts of excess items - for instance, we had an awful excess of coffee mugs, plus my old everday dishes. But, spring is upon us, and the house is slowly coming under control!

Must be tough, getting a wedding together along with taking care of young Jack!
