I suppose my biggest claim to fame would be my run in with Robbie Williams when he played at King Georges Hall... I worked there part time back then..

He had asked to meet all the staff to say thanks for all our hard work (it was manic when the tickets went on sale and sold out same day), I got a kiss on the cheek and when he was leaving I asked where his famous mooney was..so he pulled his pants down and showed his a**e :D

Re: claim to fame?

My sort of claim to fame at uni is that I actually got rejected from the uni, they saw my talent on the summer course and changed their minds, so a few of the teachers who know me refer to me to others as 'the rising star' and tell them about my story haha, which I find a bit embarrassing.

A lot of the metal bands in blackburn used to know me when I was 14 because I played a mean metal bass guitar haha, very speedy and talented girl bassist haha, those where the days.

I got full marks in my art exam at college too which I guess doesn't happen too often. A lot of people hated me for that though so it wasn't necessarily good fame.

Went to West Ham on Boxing Day 1963, got tickets of Fred Pickering, Remember seeing Geoff Hurst, John Sissons, and Bobby Moore outside the ground before the match. Went with the supporters club, set of at 12 midnight from Blackburn boulevard, outside the Star and Garter, was a great day out, especially seeing we won 8-2

Why is having met a famous person regarded as a claim to fame?

I've met many but don't consider my life any the worse or better for it.

I suppose if I do have a claim to fame it is having designed the Hyndburn Coat of Arms & logo that Hyndburn never used! I was interviewed by the press and photographed and everything.
