I think she is genuinely finding the countries, and whilst it's cute, it's absolutely useless in the real world unless she plans on being some sort of dictator who sits pondering over which country to take over next.

I dont know where some of those countries are, I must admit I am terrible with maps, but I can't see the value in being 'talented' like that at any point in life unless you teach in that area, like geography I guess, though even knowing where places are isn't even important in that subject.

Cute though, I don't think its a con.

She knows more than I do. I got most of them but I have to admit that I do get mixed up with African countries so the first one that threw me was Zimbabwe. :D

I think it's extremely relevant to know where different countries are in this day and age. Good grief I've known people go on holiday and have no idea where they've been! How mad is that?

If you meet people from different countries I think it's nice to have an idea where those countries are. Wouldn't you as a Brit feel a bit miffed if you went on holiday to the far east and a Chinese or Japanese person thought England was part of Canada?

My Youngest lad collects Fifa cards every year.

He learns all the players, off by heart. He can tell you who they play for, what position they play etc... That doesn't mean he is autistic. It means he has sat for hours with these cards ( that drive me mad, and cost a fortune ) and learn them off by heart.

Everybody has a special talent, most of us never find it, the most common talents actually found very easily are the common ones, footballers, singers, but even they are not certain, for example, wayne rooney is supposedly a better boxer than footballer, and his brother is supposedly a better footballer, but is actually a boxer. This litle girl is obviously very good with maps, as carol vorderman is very good with numbers.
