I just thought I would let you all know that Lilly had her operation the other day and is now back at home resting. Unfortunately they were unable to save her left eye during her operation. She is doing well and I am sure she will recover quickly.

So sorry to hear this news Lilly.

Hope you are soon home, and posting back here, where you belong.:)

My mum had a cateract operation on Tuesday, and was rushed back in to hospital last night, because she now has an infection, and needs drops every 30 minutes until at least Monday.

If you're in Burnley eye hospital I'll keep an....oops, look out for you, to say hi.:)

Thanks Neil, I will. They're doing everything they can to save her eye.

It's been a horrible day, as I'm sure it has for Lilly, too.:(

Hi guys. I've not been on for a couple of days as my internet provider's servers were down so only just seen this. I've just got back online now.

I have not been in hospital having an eye operation but thanks for your concern anyway. :)

I would like to send my best wishes to the other Lilly, whoever she is, and hope she soon feels better. Who is Lilly, Neil? A friend of yours?

I didn't reply earlier for the simple fact that naughty neil had put this in anything goes so thought he was up to no good.

Ok ok Lilly is one of our hens. She had a sore eye so the vet has removed it. I will pass on all your good wishes when I see her next. She has to go back to the vets on Tuesday, at least I will be able to sneak up on her now to catch her :D


Gayle's sarcastic billy comment is in regard to one of the goats. He keeps trying to kill me.
It has been suggested that I castrate him with a couple of bricks. Then if he tries to kill me again I can wave a brick at him and say "remember this". I am told this is guaranteed to make him stay away :D:D:D

Now if anyone knows a goat whisperer maybe they could calm him down before he is converted into an ex-billy goat :eek::rolleyes:

My dad used to have a Billy goat..... he was an evil little ffffff'''''' fart.

The amount of times my dad came home from his Pen, with holes in his jumper. One day the Billy goat Tupped my dad right over the fence :D
