Happy Me!
 

English magazines are so expensive here that we don´t buy them very often. We, as in my mates and I.

Pam has had a friend over recently who left half a dozen and it´s my turn to have them this week!

I´ve spotted the spring edition of Take a Break so I´m off to bed shortly to curl up and enjoy!

What is your idea of a happy treat?

A good bottle of red and the ipod all to myself is what aim for about once a week..........although once a month is nearer the mark.........!

A film I've wanted to see for ages coming on the telly, or an old one I love being reshown.

I miss not being able to go to a cinema that shows arty-farty films, but manage to see most of the ones I want to watch this way...eventually.:)

my idea of a happy treat nowadays is having a clean and tidy house, i clean up during the day whilst Reece is at school and by bedtime i'm going around picking things up after him and washing up again, it drives me mad, i'm glad i've only got the one, anymore would be hellish :D

Flashy.....have you found the same thing as me...i clean while he is at school and then i clean when he is in bed.....wheres all the mess coming from?? How do we make so much mess getting ready for school?

Emma, at the moment my bedroom is an absolute tip, looking about there isnt one thing on the floor that belongs to me, i have Reece's lunch bag, school shoes, two school jackets, his dirty clothes from last night, his tv mag, golf bats and pj's, i give up i really do, he's grounded at the moment because his bedroom is such a tip, this is the child who gets told to tidy his room almost everyday, after he has done his room he can start picking his crap up from my room


and i have a sore throat now from shouting at him

aah.... my room is off limits, its great. only problem being if tys room is a tip he cant sleep in it so ends up in mine and he is worse than a man!he snores like mad, talks in his sleep, he sleeps across the bed, usually with his feet in my face, and i am sure he grows extra limbs while he is in bed!
if we clean up when they are asleep then technically there shouldnt be anything left to do when they are at school.. but there still is! i swear the cat does it while im taking him to school that or the ira visit!

My idea of a happy treat is a night of work (preferably the weekend so the kids can stay up) Chicken and pizza feast for tea........ me, the fella and the kids curled up on the settee with somet good on the tele:D

why is it though, when you have your Ipod/mp3 player on, every f'''''''''' ( sorry rindy but needs must )... body wants to have a full blown conversation with ya?? :mad:

You find yourself having to pull the boody things out ya ears shouting " WHAT"?????? only to find out they were asking a stupid thing...... or worse still they say " OH DON;T MATTER! :whack:

i never have my earphones if im with someone, use them on the way to work and stuff.

I don`t have the earbuds in ...i have it booming out from the speaker dock......!:D

I dont have an ipod or a mp3 player.

My treat is having my hot water bottle at my back........ and its not often it gets down here so it is a happy treat when it gets here. :D:D:D
