Sex and the City

I have waited for this moment for so long......

The Sex and the City movie is out at the end of May.....yay! :mosher:

I watched Sex and the City ever since it started and was very sad when they finished it. I watch re-runs on Paramount now......love it to bits.

I can't wait to see what happens in the movie. :D

Any more fans out there?

sorry ladies , but the women from 'sex and the city' are just a bunch of skanks ....now Thelma and Louise are real babes :D :D

maybe a poll should be set up , which female character presents the best female role model .............my vote goes to Martha (Elizabeth Taylor) in 'Who's afraid of Virgina Woolf ' ;) ;)

It seems very last century, and it was quite well done, but has it not spoilt some of the fun now you know the four 'friends' all hate each other in real life, and only tolerate each other's company for the money?

:D

That might be true, it might not. If I ever meet SJP I shall ask her. :D:rolleyes:

Cast members can loathe each other privately and still make great television shows.

Harry H Corbett and Wilfred Brambell aka Steptoe and Son hated each other so much that they could not bear to be in the same room or car together but they still managed to create a great relationship on screen. :)

This was some of the most boring thrash ever to disgrace British TV screens, it's only purpose to send somone asleep. And now they've made a film of it? I would get more enjoyment from watching my toilet flush.

Way to go Carrie!:D

That was another game that used to be popular. Which character would you be, Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, or Miranda?

Most of my friends, of both genders, were Samanthas.

My favourite is Carrie but I also like Samantha.:)

I read that Miranda is bottom of most people's favourites list.

When people have Sex And The City parties nobody goes dressed as Miranda.

There were some t-shirts for sale which said 'I'm Carrie' , 'I'm Samantha'
etc. They sold out very quickly......except the Miranda ones. They had boxes of hers left over.

Poor Miranda. :(

I hear Miranda is a popular choice amongst female bus and tank drivers.;)

It's always the quiet ones that sup at the cup of Sappho.

After all it was Samantha that was famously portrayed as being bisexual in the programme.

You never can tell.:rolleyes::D

LOL. No, I don't think it's anything to do with red hair. I think it's more to do with the fact that she's not as stylish and feminine as the others.....all those boxy lawyer's suits. She gets all the crap outfits.

I have been to see the film tonight.

I've got to say that I found it a little disappointing in parts.

Fabulous outfits, a good laugh overall but I was disappointed in the main storyline. :(
