Is it me or are a lot of new people just joining Accyweb to sell things?

we have people selling motorbikes, beds and allsorts within their first post or two

is there not a rule on this forum somewhere which states you cant do that unless you've submitted a certain amount of posts? if there isnt in my opinion there should be

i dont know about anyone else but its bloody annoying me :mad:

i'm not picking out anyone in particular, it just seems that everyone is joining to use Accyweb as a selling place :mad:

it does when what theyre selling doesnt interest me at all lol

I thought you had to have a minimum number of poss before you advertised something for sale as well. They should do it like the arcade or something

I have pointed out to some new selling members that this is a community forum, and not free ebay, and got abusive PMs for my trouble

like Less has said in previous posts, Roy isnt benefiting from any of this selling, maybe its time he changed the rules on this one?

I cant remember how long i was a member before using "buy, sell & swap" but I know I wasnt a member for long. But everything I did get rid of I didnt want anything for so slightly different in a way(I think)

yeah thats different cos you werent making any money out of it, which is fair enough


i have no qualms(sp?) with people making money but just not in their first few posts, thats just cheeky

In my opinion as long as they are local and you can pick it up then it doesn't bother me. If its just a form of advertising for their business then thats a no no

After all, I just hover over the title in teh search listing and decide if I'm interested, I don't click them unless I might be

any more cheeky than teh no value posts that are popping up everywhere just so people can get into teh arcade? not IMHO

you know the ones, I'll not embarass anyparticular people but its clear that its just another 'tick' on teh way to arcadia!

Cant remember last time i went in the arcade, used it a bit when all the games were put on then kinda lost interest so I know im not guilty of that one
