Congratulations to you but, please forgive me, I don't know what you are talking about, is this some sort of School exam? I am in between schools at the moment I left too many years ago, my own children seem to be quite old these days but up to present none of my grand childer are old enough to go to school so I feel a little out of touch with your coded message. :D

Well done to the boys and to all the other kids who have passed their exams. From what I can remember of exams (last exams were at Blackburn college in 2001) it was nerve-racking, so well done. :)

It can't be worth much if you can't be bothered to explain in 'real words' then I'm not bothering until I have to! Congrat's to the kids but points away for a mum that won't tell us what she's talking about!

(Less walks away muttering under his breathe expecting yet another get off your high horse post when all he really wanted was to be able to share).
:(

For Less

It's based on what the Govt call "national averages" and basically tells you if your child has learnt what it should do for it's age.

At age 7 then most children should be at level 2, level 3 is above the expected national average.

At age 11, then most children should be at level 4 which is the national average, level 5 is above the national average.

At age 14 then most children should be at level 5.

At age 7 they are tested in English and Maths

At ages 11 and 14 they are tested in English, Maths and Science.

Hope that I've explained it for you properly.
