Re: wall-e

Apparently it is the best Pixar movie so far with the most amazing CGI you have seen yet and one review said the director should be nominated for an oscar, not seen a bad review so far so we will all be making a trip to see it soon.

Re: wall-e

I can't stand any sort of animated rubbish.

Luckily for my children, my husband likes this these films so he takes them.

If it weren't for my hubby I suppose I would have to take them as I wouldn't want them to miss out but I would be sooooo miserable throughout.

Hubby was ill once and I had to go in his place with the kids to some animated thing. I could have cried after 20 minutes.....then I finished up falling asleep!

The kids still laugh about that. :D

It looks like Johnny 5 has had a kid!
Total rip off of Short Circuit in terms of looks but he looks so cute!
I wanna see it but think it might look strange a 24 year old going to the cinema to see it!!

Not worth bothering with to be honest. Took my little one last weekend, and it was naff.

It won't be long before it's on the kids club,

Palm em off with somet else for a bit:D

Re: wall-e

Hubby took our two to see this yesterday.

They thought it wwas very good.

They went to see kung fu panda last week and they thought wall-e was better than that.

Re: wall-e

too slow for me,. The lack of any real dialogue til the last third meant that 5 minutes seemed like 10 - and for an animated film an hour and a half is more than enough without seeming like 3 hours!

Decent film with a couple of laughs in it but too long for me.

My thoughts exactly, the first half ruined the film for me, took too long to get going although, when it finally did, it was quite amusing

Re: wall-e

I loved this film, the only time I got bored was when they were chasing Wall-E through the space station, thought went on a little too long.

Don't really think is a film for the very, very young .. perhaps 9 years >>>> quite a lot of the observations are of an environmental/social nature and extremely amusing and clever. Will go over their heads. Adults, don't be afraid to go and see this.

Did wonder though how all those babies got conceived LOL ... as us humans had grown so fat and had robots to do everything for us.

Re: wall-e

They probably had some artificial reproduction system, It was supposed to be far far into the future.

Busman and I went to see it without the kids and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The lack of dialogue didn't spoil it at all. I found it quite fascinating getting into who Wall-e was and why he was doing what he was doing. His delightful characteristics emerged in those scenes of him alone.

Re: wall-e

= ] Even now thinking back to when i watched it makes me laugh :P it's funny to say they dont really say much :P

Re: wall-e

we went to see it today. Ty loved it! there was enough slap-stick to entertain a 6year old and that made up for the lack of speech.
