well i DIDNT find out in the chat room anyway, he had it on facebook, i pm'd Roy not long after i posted this thread apologising if i'd done anything wrong and telling him to delete the thread if it was out of order, HE HASNT SO IT MUST NOT BE and Mick if you have a problem with me then tell me instead of making snide comments please

I don't think Mick was making a snide comment, perhaps he was being a little over-protective, but didn't intend to cause you any grief.

All quality newspapers have a gossip columnist and I for one think you have the correct attitude to be accywebs very own "whispers from the sewers of life & purveyor of surprising details", representative.
Indeed you seem to have volunteered for the job and do it wonderfully.

What you need to remember though is that if you really want this role of, 'Tittle Tattle Queen', you will be leaving yourself open to a variety of titles that may or may not be to your liking.

Keep up the good work, and perhaps we can get Roy to start your very own section?

what a load of bollox less, is it my problem that he chose to tell everyone on facebook before he told some of his family? as i said, i pm'd Roy last week about it, are we supposed to be psychic?

i have the feeling it would have been totally different if another accywebber(someone who wasnt related) broke the news on accyweb

Facebook is different from accyweb you are restricted to who can see what you put on facebook.
All the world can see accyweb.
did you get a reply of roy if not dont you think you should have waited till you did.
i had a word with roy at the meet and he did not know anything about this thread

I for one don't know who wasn't told & I'm not terribly concerned as to who announces it on accyweb either, but as usual you are taking everything written as a personal criticism.

Also, if you are going to need to swear in your new column I for one will find it to be a rather amateurish response for someone such as you who displays such a venomous talent so naturally and perfectly.

Far from discouraging you, if you read my first post in this thread I wholeheartedly tried to encourage you, accyweb would not be the same without your hints and wrinkles about other members and such goings on, but you will have to try harder with the way you attempt to insult people the better members of your trade manage to insult people whilst making it seem a compliment, so please feel free to practice your wit and your intellectual talent for innuendo on me I'll try not to be too hurt or swear at you in reply.

On facebook you do have the option to privatise your profile but Roy hasn't done that. Anyone can view his page, I have just had a look at it myself.

Surely Roy wouldn't have put news on facebook that he did not want to become common knowledge. :confused:
