Furby's

I've just found my Gizmo Furby so decided to let the boys "play" with it. I've replaced the batteries and they think it's mint. I know that they are too young to play with it properly but because it kind of interacts, talks, etc they love it.

Anyone else admit to owning one of these???

We've had a few over the years. Some ended up getting damaged and would no longer respond but there was one which nattered all the time, but if you wanted it to be quiet you just said "Furby go to sleep now" and it would go "woowoo woowoo woowoo .......zzzzzzzzzz" and close it's eyes and be silent for ages. Once it was on the back shelf of the car chunnering away and singing to itself. Busman shouted "Furby! go to sleep!" and it opened its eyes wider. stared defiantly at him and said "NO! Me wake!" and proceeded to sing louder. The girls thought it was hilarious. :D

My son had one like that.

It drove me demented and I finished up taking its batteries out. :D
