Re: Hands Up if You Got Sky Internet
I've got Sky internet and it's always run fine for me, never had a problem with it.
What's so funny, Neil? |

Re: Hands Up if You Got Sky Internet
Just in case anyone else who is interested reads this thread (and Neil stops laughing).
To get the best out of Sky internet you also need to be a sky TV customer. Then you can either get free BB (2mb bandwidth) or £5pm = 8mb & 40gb bandwidth or £10 pm = 16mb & unlimited bandwidth. If your not a sky TV subscriber then you need to be either a BT customer or have Sky install/take over your phone line. in which case there is the Sky Connect package which costs about £17 ISTR. See here I'm on Sky & its fine, I have had 16mb but had it reduced to 13mb to improve things for gaming. I always have at least 4 pc's online in the evenings, 2 will be heavy gaming, I will likely be downloading films. :D |

Stuff your Sky and get Virgin Broadband if you can. When you pay for 20Mbit you will get it. I give up - Tinks does not give a rats booty if you use sky or how good it is. When she comes on and says she does she is telling pork pies. :D |
Re: Hands Up if You Got Sky Internet
well maybe your not asking but im going to tell you any way that i live across the road from the exchange and twice we have had to ring them up to turn the broadband speed up to what we actually pay for! told us some rubbish about turning of the router and unplug this and that (which we didnt bother to do) and lo and behold within 5 mins of ringing them up went the speed! so they thought we would think it was the unplugging that turned up the speed and it wasnt it was them!! (like we are that daft).
But anyway getting sky HD next week its on offer at the mo for £75 a box and £30 installation! i need a new box anyway and it will cost us £60 for a standard box so what the hell we are going HD! |
