What names tickle you?

Everytime I hear the news on Radio 2, read by Fenella Fudge, I always smile, even when the news isn't particularly joyous.

I bet her parents thought long and hard before giving little Fenella such an alliterative name.

(Though I'd have been tempted to call her Finger O', myself.):D

Are there any similar names that make you smile, or you find equally amusing?

It's very childish but I find the name of the Commisioner of the Metropolitan Police very funny...........Sir Paul Condon. :D

When he was mentioned on the news I always wanted the newsreader to make a mistake and say condom. :D

I've just thought of another one.

Gary and Phil Neville's dad is called Neville.........Neville Neville. :D

What were his parents thinking?

If your surname was Neville you wouldn't choose Neville as a first name for your son, would you? Haha. :D

Re: What names tickle you?

I think I've posted on Accyweb, before, the name of a German chap I had professional dealings with a few years ago. I can't type his surname here as it would be automatically deleted or asterisked - and that's not allowed. I will just say it began with F, had 4 letters and rhymed with luck. I had to write to him a few times but the worst of it was when I had to speak to his accountant on the phone. To her credit, she didn't turn a hair!

I've also told before of Mr & Mrs Sh1tehouse. I will never get over the fact that she married him and took his name. :D

I was watching a programme about child anorexics the other day and there was a nurse on who's name was Candy Bright. I thought that's not a name for a nurse unless she was wearing suspenders and red high heels. ;)

The name that always tickles my hubby (although its not rude and i dont particularly find it amusing) is when i speak of my Uncle Lord (being southerners we pronouce it 'lowd' rather than 'lord')....he laughs his behind off when i mention him.

It's not a roll eyes, it's a wink. ;)

Christopher Columbus was a navigator who discovered America.

That's all I know off hand, I'm afraid.
