Don't Leave These Two Alone At Playtime!

So I thought I'd tell you about last week, I'd taken my camera and from the beer garden of the Railway noticed something worth photographing.

I couldn't get a clear view so I climbed onto the low wall and walked to a clearer area.

What I hadn't noticed was that the ground fell away on both sides very quickly and I was stood on a very thin 15 to 20 foot parapet, (well o.k. about 10 foot).

I turned around carefully about to retrace my steps only to find Mick had followed me, trying not to show the panic I was feeling I said, "right taken the picture we can get down now", Mick replied, "no we can't I didn't realise how high this bit is, I daren't turn around!".

So, two blokes in their mid 50's were stuck on this wall with everyone else in the beer garden thinking what a couple of strange folk they are, (it doesn't look high from the garden), we eventually had to drop to our knees and crawl just to travel the short distance back to SAFETY.

AS it happens Mick got a better picture without all this mountain climbing and D erring-Do.

Second time spuggie has used us for an excuse, first time we were in the Broadway and he left us after 2 pints but arrived back to you in a drunken state and this time when he didn't even meet us.

It's a sure sign that he is a very poor liar, (just a tip spug's, if you want an alibi, get the people you're going to blame to agree to carry the can), or as has already been mentioned he needs a longer rope, trust him a little more and he won't have to lie.
