Goodbye all I suspect that because I've just had a few words with the newest admin' I'm about to get a ban, well I won't tell you what I called him but believe me it was colourful and as far as I'm concerned he deserved every word of it.
So to the dedicated members of accyweb fare thee well I might see you on a site somewhere else.

Were they removed because someone reported it, or just removed? There is plenty of stuff people could be offended at, but I thought posts were only removed if someone reported them! Or does it not count for mods and admins? Just mere mortals!

No, I would rather face a ban than that!

I was annoyed but more annoyed that he had removed the smilies without pm-ing me, I was searching around trying to find where they had gone for 10 mins thinking I'd broken accyweb!

and believe me flashy the words in my p.m where much more colourful than what you said but I do not regret nor feel a need to apologise to him, if I'm banned then I'm banned, but, I won't retract one single sentiment!

Well I must say when I threw my hissy fit I left quietly until I decided to return, Only Mick and the ones that really mattered knew why. Dont see the need for the big farewell speeches myself.

I'm a member of 5 websites, including this one. I have never been banned from any - once had a post deleted from one because I included too many asterisks (I was paraphrasing a humorous scenario at the time but - "rules is rules") :rolleyes:. One, I don't post on much - but that's because it's a crap site anyway. ;)

It has never entered my head to make a dramatic exit. If I felt I couldn't post any more I would just - stop posting. Wouldn't it be awful to announce you were leaving - and nobody begged you not to? I wouldn't take the risk. :D

It's about time people grew up on here, it's not rocket science.... normal folk doing the mod job as well as everything else, we don't take kindly to insults, I think the bans imposed may help members realise that this is a voluntary service and not easy! Engage brains before typing.....

Infractions are different from a ban they are more of a warning.
with an infraction you can still log on to the site and still post you cant with a ban.:D

There is another thread which has been closed, it was a member seemingly questioning the reason for another members ban, well I cant argue for the banned member because though people may disagree, if you get a ban/infraction for something you say to one of the moderating team, and then quote what you said later, then it is no different from the original action, after all, if you swore at a policeman, and got sent to court for it, you wouldnt then go to court, get your fine, and then go back and swear at the same policeman would you? If you did, you would receive another fine!

lol, can i just say that i wasnt insulting Len this time, i was merely pointing out the fact that i got banned before for starting THAT thread, i have no beef with Len whatsoever

Len knows i wasnt insulting him, he banned me and wrote 'hehee' at the end of the ban

just because i was banned AGAIN doesnt mean i will be any quieter on here, if anything it will make me gobbier
