To the night shift point I did it for 13 months solid 6 nights a week and the body adjusts. Seems that I have the same problem on "normal" shifts.

Many years ago my sister-in-law from my first marriage was living with us. She was working at Broadleys Printing in Clayton. Can't remember what day it was but she got up washed and dressed and set off to work. It was only when she glanced into the bag wash on Whalley Road that she realised it was two thirty in the morning. Needless to say she came back home and went back to bed.

I've just done a Spuggie. Woke up, saw it was daylight and wondered why my alarm hadn't gone off. Dived out of bed to get to the market, started running the shower and realised it was Sunday. :(

I've "done a spuggie" before now, got woken by what i thought was my alarm (i used my mobile for my alarm) got up, had a shower and got dressed, picked up my phone to check the time only to realise that it was just after 1am, my ex (we used to work for the same company and i was doing a few weeks at the same depot) was trying to ring me to let me know he wasnt going into work due to being ill so didnt want me turning up and ringing him just before 7am and waking him up. I got back into bed, went to sleep and got back up at 6am when i was meant to

Oh Yes I've done a spuggie.

One place I worked at we had a rolling week, week 1 would be say wed/thur, the next week thur/fri then fri/sat for days off.
After working a hectic weekend I was late stuck in traffic and turned up in a foul mood on the Monday and growled at every one, come lunch time I was just calming down and the boss came into the canteen and asked why I was here as it's my day off?
Back into a foul mood I flew and I shouted, "my day off and you've only just told me WHY?"

Well said the boss we all knew it was but none of us dared come near enough to tell you!
