Just an update, there's no bloody beds:( so could be a couple of days before they get me in, I'll just have batten down the hatches and attack the swine with whisky at home:D

Thanks for the kind wishes I really appreciate them very much

So we are stuck with you for a couple of days;) ... still, your home remedy seems like a good one ... if you run out of hooch, let me know, I have a Texas micky of Crown Royal gathering dust in my house.;):D Hope all goes well, bud; bon chance and keep your stick on the ice, eh.

Stick some hot water, honey and lemon in with the whisky and get yourself back to full health - otherwise I'll have to send Mancie round!

What you need is some Pals medicine.
Its called Benedictine, its what the Accrington Pals swore by after coming out of the trenches.
There is more Benedictine sold in Lancashire than any where else in the country.
My eldest daughter doses me with that when I'm not so good, I don't particularly like alcoholic beverages, but Benedictine works wonders.

I think one of the reason's for no beds, the nurses could be frightend of you, what have you been up to. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Retlaw.

I hope you get a private room with ensuite again.
It must help a lot towards recovery.
Get well soon :)

It would appear that I'm here until at least lunch time tomorrow as my consultant did not return to his office last night and he is not in at all today, so I have to wait for him to review my case before anything is don't. To me is a no brainer, being on the thick end of the wedge, hey but what do I know. I only know that my home support staff are very concerned and if they are so am I. Its no joke when you're completely breathless just buttering 2 slices of toast and cutting a grapefruit in half:(
